How long is the construction build process ?

5.5 months typical less if the weather is ideal for construction.

How are prices and contracts structured ?

For a build we use Fixed price contracts not cost plus. There will be a handle ful of items that if costs come in higher than the alotted amount the homeowner would be responsible for. For example: Building pad and or Septic

Does the builder offer warranties?

Yes, 2 different types 1 year workmanship provided by the builder and a third party 2-10 structural warranty purchased by the builder on behalf of the homeowner.

How do I get starteed?

will want to set an appointment with a project lead to speak over the phone or meet in person either at one of our properties or our model home. Discuss which is the best of the options to Explore with Amber Homes – Purchase options for homes already built or in progress, building on a builders lot homeowner chooses plan and selections or Build on your own land.

What house plans are available?

The Builder offers 20 House plans to choose from.

Can the homeowner make changes?

Yes minor simple changes that are agreeable to the builder and suitable & easily manageable can be made.

What if I find paint or cosmetic touchups?

Homeowners/ Buyers will participate in the Builders final step of the Punch out process and sign off before closing.

What is a homeowner orientation?

All Buyers / Homeowners meet with the Builder just before final completion to go over mechanicals operations of the home and necessary information to maintain the home.
